What is your favorite GW mutant?
Of the iconic mutants, it would be the Orlen, because its fun to play two personalities at once. Its like playing Joe-Jim from Orphans in the Sky, or Zaphod Beeblebrox from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You can even take so famous odd couple - Abbott and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, Monk and Ham, or the Odd Couple - and force them to share the same body. That is so fun - both as PCs and NPCs!
As for the obscure mutants, it would be T'Brath (She Who Consumes). They are like a cross between Madusa from the Inhumans, and the Amazonians from Futurama, it that they are a race of powerfully-built amazons, with red prehensile hair, but they are also cannibals, and have a set of six boobs. I like to to throw then in as a one-off joke - namely the old "death or unga bunga" joke, but more "death by snu-snu." Although, I do make them look more attractive in my games, and I make them available as a playable race, with the cannibalism and preference for *really* rough sex as optional traits.

for what ever reason, I've always liked podogs. I think that it goes back to the GW1 module and the fact that the baron had some in his stable, including a "rare" one with a dual brain.
For monster races, I've always liked to use Badders and serfs. Serfs can be deadly with their mental powers if ran correctly; use with caution.

Me! I'm my favorite mutant.
Oh, you mean in Gamma World terms... well, ah. I like bunnies!
(Hoops) They can turn your metal pointy sticks into limp lumps of rubber!

Hoops are great! Always fun to take away dangerous weapons from PCs. The rust monsters of Terra Wasteland.
Re: What is your favorite GW mutant?
After adding the T'Brath to the GW Wiki, I found out that their hair is not red nor prehensile (its actually green with eye-irritant rubbed in it, so they can whip it around to blind they opponents). I added that the red prehensile hair in my own games to make them a little more unusual, and forgot I did it.
The art used in the book dose not do this creature any justice! If I was to have drawn a pic for the book, I would have made them look tall, muscular and broad-shouldered, with a face that is more fierce than outright ugly. I would have maintain the sharp teeth, to express their "man-eating" nature. Unfortunately, the TSR staff would reject it outright, because I avoid modestly hair out of aesthetic reasons.
